This is my first time celebrated Christmas and New Year in Australia.
As everyone knows, Australia is in the southern hemisphere with the opposite weather pattern in my hone town Taiwan. Thus, this is my first "Summer Christmas" and I'm so excited.
In Brisbane, many activities are hold in near city center and South Bank. Also, there are some decorations in the streets and squares.

During Christmas holiday, there are regular parades in the Queen Street, the most lively places and the most famous tourist attraction in Brisbane city. Santa Claus is different from my expectation. I was expected that Santa Claus in Australia would wear cool dressing, like swimsuit or vest. Look at the video below, I was wrong haha, it's a Santa Claus from Northern Hemisphere.
Some amusing performance also took place in the front of the city hall. It was so cute, and it was an interactive performance for children.
In South Bank, there is also a beautiful Christmas tree. Lots of people took pictures with it. There are Christmas Market there, selling handmade crafts, awesome painting and works.
